Didn't Ron Paul drop out?

I was buying a hot dog from a street vendor in Pittsburgh the other day, and standing next to the cart were about 20 people campaigning for Ron Paul. What's up with that? Is he trying to score the VP nod? He was always the least wacko of the GOP candidates. Which isn't really saying much.
